More Preperation

For now at least, we know that we have no working camera…
Gona have to rely on camera phones… (There is still a possibility I may be able to steal one from my sister, on day one of trip – My nephews birthday Wednesday night)*

The broke assness, has not allowed me do lundry** the way I would like to (drop it off and have someone else do it for me). The laziness has also been preventing me from doing laundry (yeah, yeah .. self explanatory), at this point I am wearing T –shirts I won at functions in High school after work (and my high school uniform at work***) .. The Laundry must be done!

I am in the process of “acquiring” season 1- 4 of curb your enthusiasm ( I only caught on around season 6), Loading them onto my portable hard drive. I know that there is a new album coming out sometime this week. But I cant for the life of me, remember who or what it is.

So.. In the last 2 days we have

1. Found places to stay
2. Tried and failed to fix camera
3. Set up “The Twitter”
4. Considered doing laundry
5. Added a new team member to the blog (yeah I know get a life @madomasi)
6. Considered doing laundry some more.

Broke ass uncle or not I really need to find a gift to get my 4 year old nephew, I wonder if he is into coupons, Or slightly used, beer stained, but still readable books on Micro Economics (think about it with all the notes and stuff in it, he will be better off when he starts college in 14 or so years, and to top it off it’s a second edition). Just to make it even cooler Ill just write "property of the
half blood broker"**** in the book.
Or maybe I will just be responsible and give him some (soon to be washed) clothes that he will hopefully never grow into***…


* Yeah so um… sister dear... “Borrow me” your camera, (never mind my track record with cameras- the last one almost lasted, almost a whole month)… Disregard the fact that If I loose it or break it, all those memorable pictures (that she almost surely hasn’t backed up will be lost).. so let’s see how gullible my sister is.

The Financial situation...

I’m afraid to look at the bank account, It had been looking good, but since I wasn’t paid my commission check (hopefully my dispute will be accepted and check cut before I start this adventure - but then that would take the fun out of it? No?? certainly give me less to write about!) , having rent taken out, with nothing going in is gona hurt big time!!! But at least I shall inherit the earth (the meek*).

At this point I have nothing to loose and the world to gain! If it comes through, then that long overdue IKEA trip is gona be a part of the yet to be finalized NY itinerary **, and maybe I can buy a blender stock the drink cabinet (buy some fruit) and use that drink book, I bought for my friend (the one that refused/"forgot" to take but instead decided to steal.. sorry I meant “acquire” some of my other items like my cool bag and winter wear… yes yes I am talking bout YOU!!!)***

If the check comes before all this starts then maybe, I can buy some John Deer clothes (to fit in with the Mass crowd – country folk/hippies).

Being broke is like living on borrowed time (and the clock is ticking fast), but there can’t be any thinking just doing, I should really just… adjust to it! Just make it right… Right? What it is is what it is… and what it ain’t, it ain’t! Everything is everything. No point in being a rebel with out a cause… Just make it relevant! Don’t fall In line and follow... tailor it for better things! Focus on perfection****

Wait, shit!

Turns out I may have jumped the gun, by communicating my intended scrubbing activities, some people in the cities I am looking to visit have been refusing to answer my calls*. Jokes aside I am quite amped to see a few good friends in Mass, and Philly (some I haven’t seen in years!)

So far so good tho, the Philly itinerary** is in check (Thursday), Atlantic city (Friday Night) is in place, I got Boston good (Saturday night), still trying to con people in the good state of Mass*** to BBQ (and possibly buy alcohol - Sunday afternoon).

The Twitter has me good for NY (when I get back) I got everything from art exhibitions, free movies (Bryant Park) and scavengers hunts good. I just need to figure out if I can get good FREE/RELATIVELY INEXPENSIVE things to see (Friday Day Time- Philly) and Boston (Monday Day Time). I am looking forward to the museums in Philly (got my student id card!!!), and happy hour by the Seaport. In AC them penny slot machines are sounding real real good right now.

I am hoping to find some good websites, or people to follow on The Twitter, in any of these cities!




* Or maybe my phone has been cut off (either way I aint telling), and I am just acting out to make it look like I have a working phone.
